My top 13 problems about my art.

There are some critisisms that I should address with my art that if I can do something about it I could be content with myself.

1. I rarely have my work in color. I should try sketching my work in colored pencils.

2. I never do backgrounds. I have so many ideas for worlds but I never take the time to draw them.

3. I rarely make "finished" sketches. And by that I mean they don't look like stuff that pros have where it looks complete even if it's a pencil drawing. I need to erase more. I'm only using pencil.

4. I need to make my characters be more alive. The poses look stiff as hell especially when I use a models. I must do larger action poses.

5. I never draw characters from the back. This also goes under the previous critique. This wuld work well for fight scenes.

6. Women's faces look too similar. This is a bane of even comic artists. I won't get caught in this.

7. I need to draw more animals. How can I create a mongoose snake hybrid or a Rhinoshark if I can't draw normal animals?

8. If I'm drawing toons, they need to feel like toons. By that I mean, they should be bouncy, rubbery, stretchy, and interesting to look at when standing.

9. Many of my bodies are too thin.

10. I don't draw long enough. I only spend one  or more hours a day sketching. This is unacceptable!

11. I can't get my ideas on paper well enough. I need to figure out a way to just free draw everything in my head. Like I would free write words and I write any word no matter how ridiculous on the paper. I want to sketch this way.

12. I have an extreme lack of imagination and innovation. Explosive sharks and kittens that shoot lasers. That's been done years ago!

13. I just plain need to draw more and more often. All my free time, I slack off. When I don't have free time and I have things to do like college, I bitch and moan about me not getting enough time to draw.(like now...) I need to use my time better!
