A new sketchbook! The graphite in most of these are smudged so some may be difficult to see.
A core thing that I've done for these recent sketchbooks is to use unsmudged and non-bled pages for more sketches and ideas. I been seeing other people sketchbooks and they've be doing the same. I don't know where I got the idea not to draw back to back because doing this puts more use to my books. I want to do more productive things for my work. I recently showed my portfolio to an unnamed professional in the industry currently. He enjoys my sketches more than my colored work, which granted, I partially knew that he would, since I have yet to be comfortable working digitally and just flat out coloring work. I need to be able to take my sketching sensibilities and inject them into color work or painting. He says I can draw, now I need to do something productive with my skill and be creative. In the future I want to do a lot more stories, not necessarily future animations, but comics storyboards, and illustrations. I need to now learn as I work. SO after these next three sketchbook still in my backlog, I hope to do some more "creative and productive" endeavors.
