SMT4 is a Good Game, Yo!

So, I've been recently playing Shin Megami Tensei IV as I've heard that it's a good RPG.

I have been enjoying it so far, especially the demon designs. Of course I've had my share of getting kicked around a bit but I've managed to hold my own.

Of course, until I reached this awesome-looking guy. He's cool and all, but he keeps steamrolling my party.

I might need to do more grinding and fusing.

Science Game Jam 2013

I spend the last two days working with my friends on a game for the Science Game Jam run by Rob Lockhart and hosted by the Field Museum. It was my first game jam and the first time I've used Flash in six months. I worked on the artwork for the Fish, fish parts, and the minor swimming and water animations.

The Men's Room

After 3 months of planning, learning, struggling and crying, I've finally completed my animation for class. I'd like to do some touch ups later, perhaps make an improved version on it, but that's something for later.

There have been many hang ups and mistakes that really got me scared that I wouldn't finish, but through perseverance and hard work, I pulled through.

Enjoy this movie as much as I had making it!

June 2012 11 Sec Club Work In Progress.

I have decide to do an 11 second club project for this month. I'm thinking I could twist this as "two guys who want to use the port-a-potty" conflict. I'm not sure if the characters need to speak the lines themselves or if I could use this as a narration. Well, if push comes to shove...

Progress Report 5-30-2012

Almost the end of the month and I have two more weeks till the deadline hits. So it's time to make or break for it folks!

Here's most of what I've animated so far! There still some tweaking to do but time is still available!

There are also some more stills shot of the restroom.

It's Not Working.

An lip sync animation for class. I really wanted to find a way to incorporate liquid to this but, I haven't the slightest clue so I'm just gonna upload this anyway. One of these days I'll find a some way to create pouring liquid.

3D Animation Poses

Some poses I've been doing with this rig for my recent 3D animation class. If you can figure out how it's feeling then I've done my job correctly.

Chrono Cream Animatic

An Animatic for a mock commercial that my friends and I voiced. The sound is a little messed up but I'm ironing out the kinks.

EDIT(12/27/2011):  I have an updated video with the audio fixed.

Character Sketches for School

I have two characters who I want to animate during school.
Here's some sketches. A lot of my friends mention that they look kinda like kid version of Sly Cooper. Odd, because I was going for a Super Mario Bros 3. influence.

Meet Knick and Knack, two small raccoons who go on adventure a la Indiana Jones, Ducktales, or any other adventure serials. These twin brothers left there village to travel the world and see it outside of books they read in their library.  Using combat abilities learned from their retired knight father and knowledgeable teachings from their mother, they take on adversaries, solve mysteries, discover secrets and have fun while doing it!

 Some older designs.
A possible idea with one of the twins using their tail as a scarf.
The twins will teach themselves to use a variety of weaponry
 More alt costume sketches

Possible idea for full equipment.

More alternate costumes.

 Some actions.

More actions.
Head studies.

On another note. Here is my midterm 3D animation!

One is a rubber ball.

One is a bowling ball.

GUESS WHICH ONE IS WHICH???!

Another project for school where I needed to use Links to get a ball to land on a platform stay on a platform and leave the platform to get to the other side.

Sanctuary...

Well, I finally have some time off school so I can recoup and re touch with my friends. I still have personal projects that MUST BE FINISHED BY THE END OF THE YEAR!

I have been crazy for the past year and I'm glad I can take a moment to relax. Some good friends and good artists have graduated from my college and gone off the bigger and better things. They take my complaints like champions and I commend them for that. No matter how much I totally hate them, they're totally right. You guys will be missed.
In other news: I have recently developed a logo for myself and I'm proud of how it turned out!

I plan to have the animation for the little pre-credit intro thing like the Universal logo or the 21th Century Fox logo.

My only qualm is that I would love to put some sounds in this but I just can't find the right ones.

Whatever...I'm going to go bend some metal bars. My next Sketchbook is sooner than you think!
